Microsoft’s open-source labs Port25 have just released a fix for Windows Media Player for embedded video for users having playback trouble on Windows Vista [it also works in Firefox 2.0 on Windows XP Media Center Edition].
The fix works with both Windows XP SP2 32/64 bit editions and fixes some issues with the old plugin apparently.
The fix [300K] is aimed at the WMP versions 10 and 11 and is based on updated code from what appears to be Netscape and released under the old NPL.
