User of the Mozilla Firefox browser who are participating in the Firefox Beta Community Beta Program should now be getting the 2.0.0.9RC1 update release. This release fixes several issues and you can identify yourself in the beta program by the following:

Technical Note: You can identify if you are part of the
beta program by following these instructions:

  1. Launch Firefox.
  2. In the location bar where you usually enter a web address,
    type: about:config
  3. In the Filter field, enter: app.update.channel
    then press the enter key.
  4. If you see the value app.update.channel set to
“beta”, you are enrolled in the beta program.
(Note: The effective value cannot be changed through about:config.
If you wish to exclude yourself from the beta program you must download
and install the latest production release as mentioned above.)
