As with Firefox 1.5 and 2.0, there’s to be a third release candidate of the open source browser following an issue with the Mac OS X platform. The bug, marked as critical, caused Firefox to hang on the OS X platform when loading the plugin database on Mac OS X 10.5.3
The bug has now been marked as fixed and will be in the latest Release Candidate 3 builds. Windows and Linux users, are unaffected and will get the same Release Candidate 2 build.
